The BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management qualification reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level are likely to provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They may also have responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of teams. They apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.
This qualification focuses on empowering participants to effectively motivate, mentor, coach and develop team cohesion through effective leadership and forming the bridge between the management of an organisation and its team members.
The Certificate IV in Leadership and Management may be completed through a Smart and Skilled Traineeship / Entitlement pathway or a Fee for Service enrolment.

Other options

Delivery Pathways
Traineeships
This pathway is for learners undertaking study as part of a signed training contract with their Employer and includes planned site visits.
Work-based
This pathway is for learners employed within the industry and undertaking study with employer support outside of a traineeship.
Classroom delivery
Learning occurs through face-to-face or virtual sessions including weekday, evening and Saturday sessions.
Blended delivery
Learning occurs through a combination of classroom sessions, work-based, virtual and/or distance delivery.
