This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to work effectively in a range of education settings; including working within legal and ethical frameworks and working with diversity.
NAT11397002 Work safely in an education setting
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to assist in implementing work health and safety policies and procedures, under the guidance and supervision of a teacher or other educational professional, to support the health, safety, and wellbeing of children/students using the service.
CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to identify children and young people who are at risk and report in line with legislative requirements. This work occurs within legislative and policy frameworks and carries a duty of care responsibility.
NAT11397003 Support inclusive learning for children of all abilities
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to develop foundational awareness of those with additional needs and/or disabilities and apply simple support strategies when working with or supporting young children in educational environments.
BSBXCM301 Engage in workplace communication
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to communicate (through written, oral and nonverbal form) in the workplace within an industry.
BSBPEF301 Organise personal work priorities
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to organise personal work schedules, to monitor and obtain feedback on work performance and to maintain required levels of competence.
BSBPEF201 Support personal wellbeing in the workplace
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to advocate for and feel empowered about personal wellbeing in the workplace. It involves developing and applying basic knowledge of factors that may influence wellbeing, both positively and negatively.

All course fees are determined by individual eligibility, and availability of Government-subsidised training pathways. You can check your eligibility through our Student Enquiry Form or, if you proceed straight to enrolment, your course fee will be provided to you before we accept your enrolment. All enrolments require a $300 initial payment (this is taken off the total course fee) which is payable within 3 weeks from the acceptance of enrolment. For all remaining fees payable, we offer flexible direct debit payment plan options.
