Smart and Skilled is a reform of the NSW Vocational Education and Training (VET) system. It’s helping people in NSW get the skills they need to find a job and advance their careers.
Smart and Skilled provides eligible students with:
- An entitlement to government-subsidised training up to and including Certificate III
- Government funding for higher-level courses (Certificate IV and above) in targeted priority areas
Traineeships – KARBEN Training Solutions is a provider of NSW traineeships under Smart and Skilled across all areas of NSW
Entitlement Full Qualifications: Enrolments are now open for Entitlement Full Qualifications for the following qualifications:
- BSB30115 Certificate III in Business
- CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- CHC30213 Certificate III in Education Support
- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or Home and Community)
Targeted Priorities Full Qualifications: Enrolments are now open for Targeted Priorities Full Qualifications for the following qualifications:
- BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (soon to transition to BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management)
- CHC40113 Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care
- CHC50213 Diploma of School Age Education and Care
- CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support
- CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability
This training is subsidised by the NSW Government
‘KTS may deliver Entitlement Full Qualifications outside of approved regions where there is a demand for such, please contact our office should you be located in one of these areas to check eligibility and places available’
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
You may be eligible for Smart and Skilled funding if you:
✔ are aged 15 years or older
✔ have left school
✔ live or work in New South Wales
✔ are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen
