HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Nationally Recognised Training

This 4 hour course covers the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. HLTAID001 unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that all those trained in CPR should refresh their CPR skills at least annually

There is no pre-requisite required for this session.

We DO NOT cancel class regardless of the amount of students enrolled!

Session Content Includes
  • Assessing the Situation
  • Plan an appropriate first aid response
  • Performing CPR for both Adults & Children
  • Understanding use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Mask training
Assessment Methods

There is no pre-requisite training required for any of these certifications; all learning & assessment is conducted on the day.

 

 

Course Duration & Enrolment Fees

1 x 4 hour workshop (9am until 1pm). Cost: $60 *Spring / Summer Special* normally $80

Locations

We service all areas throughout Central Coast, Newcastle and Sydney. Courses are held weekly on the Central Coast NSW in Wyong or alternatively we can arrange to visit your workplace for group sessions.
