Yoga and Mindfulness in Education
Kathryn has been teaching kids yoga and working with local preschools and services for the past three years and has seen firsthand the many benefits yoga and mindfulness can bring. Her work with local educators aims to empower them to become confident yoga and mindfulness leaders, enabling a more holistic approach to early years education.
Kathryn’s purpose in life is to bring the many benefits of yoga and mindfulness to as many educators, children and families as possible.
About The Session
Do you want to be part of a generation of healthy minds, strong bodies and happy children? Join Kathryn as she shares the basics of her Yoga and Mindfulness program including:
- Simple ways to become more mindful educators
Breathing exercises to help with self-regulation and tantrums
Mindful activities children and educators will love trying
Yoga movements to help create calm children
Simple relaxation to help the children relax their mind and body at rest time
At the end of the session, educators will have simple and effective tips and techniques to start trying out yoga and mindfulness in their own services. PLUS, Kathryn will be drawing a special prize to win a pack of Bearfoot Yoga cards!
