About The Session
Childhood trauma comes in two forms: simple and complex. When trauma is complex the impact on the child’s health and development can be profound. As adults working with children, we have the opportunity to help heal the site of trauma through attuned relationships and trauma friendly environments.
Join Kate for an engaging and informative presentation and discuss:
- The impact of trauma on the developing brain and memory
The importance of attuned relationships
Trauma sensitive practices and environments
Kate’s collaborative approach ensures Educators will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss practical strategies to embed trauma informed practice within their own service!
